We take each Pay Later approval decision seriously and strive to ensure our customers maintain responsible spending behaviour.  A number of factors go into our approval process, but here are the main criteria we look for:

  • First-time applicants need to meet our eligibility requirement.  You can find the requirements here.
  • Too many purchases in a short amount of time may result in being declined (fraud prevention).
  • Spending limit increase over time as an OctiFi customer.  History of positive behaviour using OctiFi services will increase your chances of getting approved.
  • Unpaid balances will reduce your available spending limit.  Try paying them off first to increase your spending limit.
